Querids lectores, a quièn pudiera interesar:

Busco personas sanas que quieran vivir en el campo y del campo, comer sana-mente, cuidar animales y bosques, y compartir y con-tribu-ir en este proyecto de vida rural.

Llevo màs de 10 años probando, observando, experimentando, errando, aprendiendo y trabajando una vida rural en el campo y para el campo. Actualmente consumo la mayor parte de alimentos de las cosechas y una buena parte de la economìa proviene del campo. 

Llegado el momento en el que este proyecto va rodando màs que siendo empujado, y sintiendo la fuerza, ganas y confianza suficientes para incluir mas personas, he optado por publicitarlo y abrirlo a ls interesads.

Ha sido un duro trabajo abrir este camino. Ha habido reveses muy duros, pero al final se demuestra la premisa fundacional: que  la ilusiòn, el empeño y el esfuerzo lo pueden sacar todo para adelante.

Arribando a esta sierra, busqué un proyecto similar a este y no lo encontré. Entonces el destino puso este montòn de fincas por delante y la condición del vendedor fue de comprar todas o no habrìa trato. Al ofrecer facilidades de pago y por la romàntica idea de que lo importante era cuidar de la màxima superficie de bosque posible, llegamos a buen trato. La motivación también fue que con tantas tierras y construcciones también podría dar oportunidad, en el futuro, a otras personas que buscasen algùn proyecto en marcha, al igual que yo buscaba cuando lleguè a esta sierra.

En los comienzos algunas personas se arrimaron pero nadie se atreviò a unirse ante las dificultades que un proyecto tan grande entraña en sus comienzos. Ademàs esta zona, y sobre todo en los principios del proyecto, era igual de dura, que bella y tranquila. Vivo en el nacimiento de varios arroyos, en lo alto del risco, en lo profundo e inaccesible de un valle...

Años despuès mejorè la habitabilidad, los accesos, la producciòn de nutrientes tanto para mi como para los animales y las plantas. Mis hijs y muchas generaciones de animales se han criado aqui, y ahora veo que es posible y ademàs necesario poder crecer, llegar a un equilibrio entre personas y naturaleza, el Ubuntu, el in'lackech, la empatìa con nuestra tierra.

Por eso he decidido abrir esta puerta, y comenzar a buscar màs personas con las que compartir este proyecto. La idea no es hacer una comuna o comunidad, porque esa idea parece que incluye convivencia y fuerza a acordar pensamientos. Prefiero llamarlo Aldea. Aunque Aldea incluye a un mayor nùmero de personas agrupadas. Pero el fundamento es el mismo, respeto a la individualidad de cada persona y la personalidad de cada individuo y por supuesto a la personalidad de cada clan o familia. Lo màs importante en una aldea es la coolaboraciòn entre los vecinos. Tenemos que cooperar en aspectos comunes, como son la alimentaciòn, construcciòn, cuidados, crecimiento individual y grupal... y algo màs que se me escape. A pequeña escala podría denominarse Cooperacion Comunal o vecinal, pero suena muy largo, así que COPERALDEA podría ser un buen nombre

♤ Que puede tener en comùn la Coperaldea: 

Lo primero lo ya existente: 

1 Cabras de las cuales se obtiene leche, carne, estièrcol y cuidan de tener los alrededores de las casas limpios contra los incendios. Asi mismo limpian los alrededores de las huertas, el bosque y la montaña. Un ejemplo de cooperaciòn que se podrìa pactar: cada semana le corresponde a un aldean@ el cuidado de los animales y de la leche que pueda sacarse durante esa semana vender a quesería para obtener ingresos o para gestionarsela a su manera (Queso, yogurt, ...). Los cabritos podrían  venderse en conjunto y repartirse el beneficio entre todos. Es solo un ejemplo...

2 Huertas y frutales: otro ejemplo de cooperaciòn podrìa ser: proponer tareas mutuas y la reparticiòn de productos, la elaboraciòn conjunta de conservas y el reparto de estas entre los aldean@s.

Tengo una asociación legal 'Granja Tragulla' y estoy construyendo y legalizando un secadero de fruta, hortalizas y plantas aromàticas. Me gustarìa etiquetar los envases con el nombre de 'Golosanas extremasanas'😁😁 . Lo importante de verdad es que esta actividad tambièn podría incluirse en la economía de la coperaldea junto con los 300 frutales que he plantado hace años.

3 Llevo tiempo haciendo mercados con plantel de huerta, aromàticas y medicinales. Tambièn algo de cosmètica natural. Todo esto susceptible de formar parte de la economía aldeana 

4 Ya tengo en marcha una escuela de pastores y vida para atraer turismo vivencial. Todavía se encuentra en su comienzo así que hay que darle trabajo y publicidad, y tambièn estarìa compartido en la economía aldeana.

5 Todo se gestiona mediante la Asociación Cultural 'Granja Tragulla' con la idea de facilitar el desarrollo de actividades de una forma “legal” y segura.

♤ Que se ofrece y se pide para entrar en la Coperaldea: hay muchos terrenos, y la idea inicial era compartirlo. Queda alguna construcciòn susceptible de ser rehabilitada y legalizada como establo, casa de aperos o incluso de uso terciario ( sala polivalente, aula multiusos,por ejemplo). Las construcciones no pueden ser vivienda habitual oficialmente, pero tampoco esta prohibido el dormir dentro o acomodarla al gusto. La idea es que las personas que quieran participar en el proyecto adquieran o  compren su parte de tierra y construcciòn. Pero también podria optarse por comprar o habitar otras tierras aledañas aunque esten màs alejadas del proyecto. Tambièn esta abierta la posibilidad de cesiòn de tierras, porque no todo el mundo tiene dinero para comprar del tiròn.

De adquirirse alguna de las tierras y construcciòn anexa al proyecto, se detalla la descripciòn y las condiciones:

1 ) Hay una de 1.1ha con construcciòn.

 2 ) Otra de 3.8 ha mas o menos, con dos grupos de construcciones, uno de ellos censado y grande, otro menos grande pendiente de censar. La construcciòn censada necesita de reforma para ser utilizada.  Tiene la finca todas las orientaciones menos el oeste. Dispone de un arroyo con buena agua, y un bosque de castaños con pradera. 

Puntos que puedan hacer de esta tierra algo desfavorable (y remedios):

1 El acceso no es muy bueno. Hay algunas pendientes abruptas (tiene soluciòn), no entra un camiòn ( tiene solucion) pero si acceden tractores en caso de tener que traer material pesado o voluminoso. Asì mismo es recomendable un todo terreno pequeño hasta que el camino quede totalmente reformado. De lo cual hay proyecto municipal en un tramo y proyecto propio en otro tramo. Son 3.5km al pueblo, y quedaràn unos 300mts de carretera a mejorar para poder venir con un coche NO 4x4 a diario.

2 Està situado en montaña, por lo cual casi todo es pendiente al desplazarse de un sitio a otro de la finca. Pros: Hay muchas terrazas, para el cultivo u otras necesidades de terreno en llano (tiendas de campaña, aparcamiento, etc)

3 No todo es bosque, la zona donde esta la construcciòn grande es mas yerma, pero asì màs segura contra incendios forestales y más favorable para emprender más huerta.

4 La compra de un todoterreno, moto o  quad, bici o burro es importante hasta que se termine de adecuar los accesos a las fincas. De todas maneras uno de estos vehiculos se hace muy pràctico en esta sierra para acceder a otras fincas de amiges, transporte de materiales y otros usos del dìa a dìa rural. 

Y ahora el lado positivo: mucha agua, tranquilidad, amplias vistas, inviernos menos frios (esto es debido a la inversiòn tèrmica), bosques autòctonos, monte pùblico alrededor, cabeza de rìo por lo tanto agua pura, camino propio exclusivo, nunca se vieron quimicos en esta tierra,...

El aporte a la positividad tambien cuenta, asi que se ofrece:

1 Una casa donde vivir al lado de vuestra finca mientras haceis vuestra reforma.

2 El uso compartido de la huerta y los productos animales.

3 Asesoramiento en todo el tema de construccion, licencias, etc

4 Facilidades varias en el pago de la finca.

5 Un lugar en el pueblo (trastero grande) que pueda servir de soporte a tu logistica hasta que tengas tu casa construida.

6 Aunque lo ponga al final, es lo màs importante, apoyo 100% a las actividades que hagan que nuestros pekes se sientan lo mas valorado.

El precio: por la de 1.1ha se  valora 10.000eu, por la de 3.8 ha: 20.000 eu. Incluye parte o totalidad de la cubierta o tejado y ayuda para guiar la obra para hacer el bàsico habitable, o sea, suelo, paredes, tejado y agua corriente.

Propuesta para las personas candidatas a participar en la Cooperaldea Tragulla:

 El primer mes, se deja una casa gratis, para que ademàs de conocernos y que conozcàis la granja, sus actividades y el entorno, echèis una mano, en la medida de vuestras posibilidades, para hacer trabajos de interès aldeano. A partir del segundo mes, se haría un contrato de alquiler con opciòn a compra, de tal manera que si al final decides quedarte, el dinero del alquiler ya estarà pagando la futura tierra (en el caso que se opte por una tierra del proyecto claro).

Cada persona candidata se proporcionarà su comida y gastos necesarios para subsistir.

Con esta propuesta, se evita que las casitas sean ocupadas un tiempo indefinido sin producir los objetivos esperados (de turismo rural, de colaboraciòn, etc), y restando oportunidad a otras candidatas. 

El importe del alquiler serà de acuerdo a las posibilidades de cada persona.

The motivation was also that with so many lands and buildings, opportunities could also be given in the future to other people who were looking for a project in progress, just like I looked for when I arrived in this mountain range. 

In the beginning, some people joined but no one dared to join in the face of the difficulties that such a large project entails in its beginnings. In addition, this area, and especially at the beginning of the project, was just as hard as it was beautiful and calm, at the source of several streams, at the top of the cliff, deep and inaccessible in a valley. 

Years later, habitability, access, and the production of nutrients for us as well as for animals and plants were improved. My children and many generations of animals have grown up here, and now we see that it is possible and also necessary to be able to grow, reach a balance between people and nature, Ubuntu, in'lackech, empathy with our land.

2 Orchards and fruit trees: another example of cooperation could be: proposing mutual tasks and the distribution of products, the joint elaboration of preserves and the distribution of these among the villagers. Our association is building and legalizing a dryer for fruit, vegetables and aromatic plants. The brand could be called 'Golosanas extremasanas', it could be included in the economy of the coperaldea together with the 300 fruit trees that we have planted years ago. 

3 We have been making markets with plants and natural cosmetics for decades. Also likely to be part of the village economy 

4 A school for shepherds and life is already underway to attract experiential tourism. It is still in its infancy so you have to give it work and publicity, and it would also be shared in the village economy.

“Somos lo que hacemos para cambiar lo que somos” 

HISTORIA

 Esta aventura comenzò en Abril del 2012. Tragulla es el nombre del paraje que estoy recuperando. Al llegar era un lugar abandonado desde hace medio siglo, donde hubo inmensos castañares, robledas y fértiles praderas, muchas cabras y mucha cultura ancestral. Tras su abandono se saquearon casi todos los viejos árboles. Después los fuegos han ido mermando uno de los bosques viejos de más altitud de la sierra. No obstante la abundancia de aguas en el entorno, el abandono y el descanso de fuegos en los ùltimos decenios, ha mantenido con vigor a los árboles supervivientes. Por eso al llegar vi claro que estaba en mis manos recuperar esta nuestra cultura, nuestros bosques. Lo primero fuè despejar la maraña de vegetación seca que cubrìa las faldas del  bosque,  para evitar así una catástrofe en caso de incendio. Después de agachar y retirar la vegetaciòn del suelo,  los àrboles que había se vigorizaron y ahora su sombra crece y cubre el fértil suelo del bosque, manteniendo su humedad y frescor en el verano, salvándolo en caso de incendio. 

 "cuanto más alto esta un  bosque, mas lejos llegan sus semillas" 

 De esta manera comenzè a proliferar actividades que mantenian vivo y sano este valle. Es el lugar perfecto, sano y puro para conservar oficios y labores tradicionales del campo. Hay hecho un duro trabajo habiendo recuperado instalaciones hechas en piedra (refugios, establo, pajar..), caminos, limpiando monte, devolviendo fertilidad a las zonas de cultivo tanto de huerta, como de cereal y pastos para los animales, descubriendo los antiguos sistemas de acequias para el regado de praderas y cultivos, reparando muros de piedra de las terrazas de cultivo... La ilusión y el empeño son la fuerza que saca todo esto adelante.  

 La orientación principal del valle es al sur, bajando cualquiera de las sendas abiertas se llega al pueblo. Al norte hacen cima Las Jañonas, que cobijan y atizan viento y nubes. También hay un valle con cara norte donde ahora se alojan los bosques de robles, castaños y alcornoques, y que es más fresco en el verano. La Vegetación se compone de Castaños, robles, encinas, saucos, Madroños, Cerezos (guindos), higueras,  frutales, sauces, alisos, fresnos, pino piñonero, brezos, jaras, jaguarzo, cantueso, tomillo, escobas, orégano, retamas, milenrama, Hipérico, helicriso, llantèn, mentas, collejas, ... 

 EL PROYECTO   La idea es volver a dar vida a este valle, a esta tierra, a estos bosques y a los abandonados montes públicos, que están para quemarse si no se pone remedio. La primera necesidad fue la de fertilizar, hacer suelo (HUMUS), ayudar a extender el dominio del bosque autòctono con sus sombras y ramas. Allí donde los árboles ya hubieran desaparecido, hice pequeños rodales de arboles, vallados contra las cabras, las cuales mantienen mientras los alrededores limpios. 

Una vez restaurado el suelo solo queda mantenerlo mediante la actividad diaria, la sana rutina que llena. Ordeñar, sembrar, regar es el dia a dia.

Se legalizò la Asociaciòn 'Granja Tragulla' para la defensa de la vida rural, y a traves de ella se ofrecen experiencias vivenciales, desde cursos para ver como se hace un queso, como hacer una huerta, rutas botànicas, elaboraciòn de jabones, cosmètica natural, bioconstrucciòn, y el resto de actividades que conforman el dia a dia. 

 LAS CABRAS

Además de buenas compañeras de trabajo, son una gran herramienta para limpiar y fertilizar los suelos. En compensación tenemos sus productos para nuestro consumo, y su estiércol que nos es imprescindible para nuestra huerta y el vivero. Ademàs colaboro en un programa de estudio del pastoreo para la prevención de incendios, con un escaso aporte económico. 

CULTIVOS FORESTALES despuès de cada incendio los pinos ganan terreno y los àrboles autòctonos retroceden, y el suelo se lava. Urge pues que alguien venga a sujetar ese suelo y además lo mejore. Me gusta reproducir àrboles e hice un vivero de àrboles forestales y frutales. Lo mejor de plantar àrboles es poder  cuidarlos y aprovechar sus frutos. Los terrenos yermos estàn sembrados con la semilla del lugar autóctona extendiendo asi los lugares de pasto y arbolado para los animales. A su vez estos fertilizan los alrededores de las plantaciones mejorando el terreno. Además de favorecer el árbol autóctono, se han introducido algunos algarrobos, arces, olmos, tejo, abedúl, nogal, pistachos y serbales, mostajo, paulonias y ciprés cortafuegos. Utilizo una tecnica de Rodales en la cual cerco àreas relativamente grandes pero fàciles de mantener. En estos recintos planto árboles mediante la técnica de Elena White. Al cabo de unos años, cuando las ramas estan a salvo del diente del ganado, se desplazan los cercos para continuar la tarea de fomentar el arbolado. Ya hay más de 300 frutales y miles de robles, castaños, madroños, alcornoques...

 CULTIVOS AGRICOLAS la mayor parte de la despensa proviene de la huerta, además  de varios cultivos de plantas medicinales, aromáticas, y cereales para los animales y para consumo propio de interesantes especies como la avena desnuda ... me encanta cultivar y preservar. He desarrollado un secadero de verdura y fruta para aumentar la despensa de invierno y estoy legalizando un secadero para la venta.

 FILOSOFIA el proyecto es retomar una forma de vivir de la tierra de manera que la tierra aumente su fertilidad cuando la trabajamos, a diferencia de la manera que la agricultura industrial hace explotando y agotando los recursos indefinidamente.  Difundir esta cultura es parte esencial de este proyecto. Hay que dar ejemplo. Pero lo más importante es devolver a la tierra más fertilidad de la que tomamos, dejando un futuro más fertil y sembrado que consumido. El fundamento es llevar una vida mas sencilla, alejándose del consumo excesivo e innecesario, y valorando lo básico e importante. 

La alimentación es la base para una medicina natural preventiva basada en una huerta sana y orgánica, además de carnes y leches saludables. Esto no es una granja ecológica sino lógica, se hace lo que siempre se ha hecho, pero ahora llaman ecológico.

 FORMACION Y VOLUNTARIADO. Por querer dar ejemplo tengo la tarea diaria de formar a las personas que vienen a ayudar. Se les enseña el manejo de las cabras, el mantenimiento de los bosques y las zonas de recuperación mientras se pastorea, la recolección de plantas y el cuidado de la huerta, sistemas de siembra y uso de herramientas como la horca de doble mango, la sembradora, escardadora, etc. 

Tambièn se les instruye en construcciòn, principalmente con materiales naturales. La fabricación de herramientas, menajes, productos de limpieza, y muchas mas labores, haciendo la funciòn de una escuela de pastores y de vida4, dadas los diferentes caracteres de los oficios y artes que se abarcan y transmiten.

 

 UNIRTE A UN PROYECTO ASI 

 “da igual lo que pienses; lo importante es lo que podemos hacer juntos” 

 Actualmente busco más personas que quieran participar en un proyecto asì. Si alguien quiere arrimarse y conocer el proyecto eres bienvenid@, sin compromiso, por supuesto. 

Puede haber diferentes tipos de participación, según las necesidades y las posibilidades de cada un@, se pueden ir adaptando las situaciones y encontrando hueco para las personas y las ideas. Serían prioritarias aquéllas personas que quieran colaborar con las cabras y las huertas. Ademàs de la ganaderia y la agricultura, tambièn se desarrollan otras actividades como cursos de formación, turismo, salida a mercados, y trabajos temporales. Todas estas actividades e ingresos son potencialmente compartibles. Hay posibilidad de adquirir terreno con construcciòn, la ventaja es que ya hay mucho trabajo hecho y queda más por hacer, pero eso no es problema puesto que aqui se apoya el trabajo colectivo. 

 PARTICIPACION A DISTANCIA Otra posibilidad para participar en el proyecto es apadrinando. Apadrinar el proyecto Tragulla es salvar una cultura, prevenir incendios, cuidar nuestra naturaleza y COMPARTIR los productos y frutos que se obtienen. Tras estas olas de incendios imparables, y desastres naturales derivados de nuestros hàbitos diarios que cambian el clima del planeta, muchas personas se preguntan, QUE PUEDO HACER YO POR MI TIERRA?? Pues hay maneras para ayudar, bien arrimàndose de vez en cuando y echando una mano en proyectos como este, o bien haciendo aportaciones económicas que tengan un fin claramente práctico en solucionar este lìo que hemos provocado entre tods. Estas son las propuestas de participaciòn: 

 APADRINA UNA CABRA y evita incendios salvajes: puedes venir y alojarte aqui, conocer a tu cabra, ordeñarla, hacerte un queso, compartir y participar de la vida de campo. Podràs ser parte de una soluciòn que muchos revindicamos como vital, como es la revuelta de la vida rural. Aprender a fabricar productos comestibles o del hogar de alta calidad natural, de máximo respeto con la naturaleza en su elaboración. 

 APADRINA UNA NUBE  (siembra de agua) una tarea del dia a dia es el mantenimiento de los canales o acequias que discurren por la ladera de la montaña para regar las praderas. Mientras estos funcionen correctamente, el agua se infiltrarà por los veneros rellenando acuìferos. A su vez, las praderas exsudaràn más vapor de agua, volviendo a generar nubes que cierran y abren el ciclo del agua. A su vez, las praderas y las raíces de las plantas hacen las veces de esponja reteniendo gran cantidad de agua que acabará rellenando los arroyos en los tiempos de escasez. Si quieres ser partìcipe de este proceso antidesertificante, puedes colaborar del mismo modo que apadrinando una cabra, obtendrás regalos naturales de las cosechas.

 CoMo Llegar Hasta el pueblo de Gata hay muy buen acceso por autopista y carretera . El acceso en coche a las fincas es regular dependiendo del vehículo, aunque van mejorando. Andando al pueblo por sendas hay 40 min. Y tiene varios caminos diferentes y muy bonitos para ir alternando. También llega aqui al lado una calzada romana (via ladalmacia) a 200 mts que comunica Gata con otras poblaciones, es peatonal o para bici. En autobus tambièn es posible.

"We are what we do to change what we are" 

This adventure began in April 2012. Tragulla is the name of the place that I am recovering. Upon arrival, it was an area abandoned half a century ago, where there were immense chestnut groves, oak groves and fertile meadows, many goats and much ancestral culture. After its abandonment, almost all the old trees were looted. Afterwards, the fires have been depleting one of the highest old forests in the sierra. Despite the abundance of water in the surroundings, the abandonment and the rest of fires in recent years, it has kept the surviving trees alive. That is why when I arrived I saw clearly that it is in our power to recover our culture, our forests. The first thing was to clear the tangle of dry vegetation that covered the skirts of the forest, in order to avoid a catastrophe in the event of a fire. After lowering and removing the vegetation from the ground, the trees that were there were invigorated and now their shadow grows and covers the fertile forest floor, keeping it humid and cool in the summer, saving it in case of fire.

In this way, activities that kept this valley alive and healthy began to proliferate. It is the perfect, healthy and pure place to preserve trades and traditional work in the field, almost in extinction. Hard work has been done, recovering facilities made of stone (shelters, stables, haystacks...), recovering roads, clearing the forest, restoring fertility to the cultivation areas, both for gardens, cereals and pastures for animals, discovering the ancient ditches systems for irrigating meadows and crops, repairing stone walls of cultivation terraces... Illusion and commitment are the force that drives all of this forward. 

The main orientation of the valley is to the south, going down any of the open paths to reach the town. To the north they make the summit of Las Jañonas, which shelter and fan the wind and clouds. There is also a north-facing valley where oak, chestnut and cork oak forests now reside, and which is cooler in summer. The Vegetation is made up of Chestnuts, oaks, holm oaks, elders, strawberry trees, cherry trees, fig trees, fruit trees, willows, alders, ash trees, stone pine, heather, rockroses, jaguarzo, lavender, thyme, brooms, oregano, broom, yarrow , Hypericum, helichrysum, plantain, mints, collejas, ...

THE PROJECT The idea is to give life to this valley, to this land, to these forests and to the abandoned public forests, which are ready to burn if they are not remedied. The first need is to fertilize, to make soil (HUMUS), to help extend the domain of the native forest with its shadows and branches. Where the trees have already disappeared, small stands of trees are created, fenced against the goats, which keep the surroundings clean while. Once the soil has been restored, all that remains is to maintain it through daily activity, the healthy routine that fills it. Milking, sowing, watering is the day to day. 

An Association 'Granja Tragulla' has been created for the defense of rural life, through which experiential experiences are offered, from courses to see how cheese is made, how to make an orchard, botanical routes, soap making, natural cosmetics , bioconstruction, and the rest of the activities that make up the day to day. 

THE GOATS In addition to being good work companions, they are a great tool for cleaning and fertilizing the soil. In compensation we have their products for our consumption, and their manure, which is essential for our garden and nursery. I also collaborate in a grazing program for fire prevention, with a small economic contribution. 

FOREST CROPS after each fire the pines gain ground and the native trees recede, and the soil washes away. It is therefore urgent that someone come to hold that soil and also improve it. The best thing about planting trees is being able to take care of them and take advantage of their fruits. The barren lands are planted with the native seed of the place, thus extending the grazing places for the animals. In turn, these fertilize the surroundings of the plantations, improving the terrain. In addition to favoring the native tree, some carob, maple, elm, yew, birch, walnut, pistachio and rowan, whitebeam, paulonia and firebreak cypress have been introduced. I use a stand technique in which relatively large but easy to maintain areas are fenced off. Trees are planted in them using the Elena White technique. After a few years, when the branches are safe from cattle teeth, these stands are moved to continue the task of promoting trees. There are already more than 300 fruit trees. 

AGRICULTURAL CROPS Most of the pantry comes from the orchard, in addition to various crops of medicinal and aromatic plants, and cereals for animals and interesting species such as naked oats for their own consumption.

PHILOSOPHY The project is to resume a way of living from the land so that the land increases its fertility when we work it, unlike the way that industrial agriculture does by exploiting and depleting resources indefinitely. Spreading this culture is an essential part of this project. You have to set an example. But the most important thing is to return to the land more fertility than we took, leaving a future more fertile and planted than consumed. The foundation is to lead a simpler life, moving away from excessive and unnecessary consumption, and valuing what is basic and important. Food is the basis for a preventive natural medicine based on a healthy and organic garden, as well as healthy meats and milk. This is not an organic farm but a logical one, it does what has always been done, but now they call it organic. 

TRAINING AND VOLUNTEERING. Because I want to set an example, I have the daily task of training the people who come to help. They are taught the management of goats, the maintenance of forests and recovery areas while grazing, the collection of plants and the care of the orchard, planting systems and the use of tools such as the double-handled fork, the seeder. , weeder, etc. They are also instructed in construction, mainly with natural materials. The manufacture of tools, kitchenware, cleaning products, and many more tasks, performing the function of a school of shepherds, given the different characteristics of the trades and arts that are covered and transmitted.

PARTICIPATION Many volunteers come from all over the planet to help selflessly, in a magical way. Also our neibourhood, promoting a collaborative society.

Currently looking for more people who want to participate in a project like this. If someone wants to get closer and learn about the project, you are welcome. There may be different types of participation, according to the needs and possibilities of each one, situations can be adapted and space found for people and ideas. Those people who want to collaborate with the goats and the orchards would be a priority. In addition to livestock and agriculture, other activities are also carried out such as training courses, tourism, going to markets, and temporary jobs. All of these activities and income are potentially shareable. There is the possibility of acquiring land with construction, the advantage is that there is already a lot of work done and there is more to do, but that is not a problem since collective work is supported here.

HOW TO GET THERE There is very good access to the town of Gata by motorway and highway. Access by car to the farms is regular depending on the vehicle, although they are improving. Walking to the town by paths there are 40 min. And it has several different and very beautiful paths to alternate. A Roman road (via ladalmacia) also arrives here next to 200 meters that connects Gata with other towns, it is pedestrian or for bicycles. By bus it is also possible.
